SOUTH INDIA BIBLE WORKER TRIP REPORT
As reported by Israel Prasad, JFA India Director

Greetings to you all in the sweet name of our Lord and Jesus Christ our Savior.
I started my trip to Coimbatore (see map below) on March 12 and reached there at two o'clock in the afternoon. I was able to meet the workers there at three o'clock and have a short meeting with them before taking the Sabbath vesper service.
The next day, Pastor William George, the Special Ministry Director from the division, took the divine service. After the sun set, we went to visit some of the workers' places and continued visiting them the next day. I personally praise and thank the Lord for the good work our Jesus for Asia [JFA] Bible workers are rendering both in establishing new churches in the un-entered areas and in strengthening the existing churches. I also was very happy to see and hear of the new believers they are adding to our churches.
The next day Pastor William George, Pastor K.V. Samuel, Pastor Appa Swamy, and I, with some of the JFA Bible workers, went to Udumalpet, reaching there at 10:30 in the morning. All our JFA volunteers from Valparai and the local places attended the meeting. We had two days of Bible Doctrine meetings for our JFA workers. It was amazing to see Sister Sabiya reading the Bible verses (she was illiterate - watch her testimony by clicking here). She on her own has brought thirty-four precious souls into this remnant truth. Also most of her family members have been baptized as a result of her work and are attending churches in various places. In the same way, all of our JFA workers in Udumalpet are doing wonderful work. Both days, we paid for their lunch and for the travel expense s of the Bible workers from Udumalpet.
In the evenings we went visiting our Bethel Children's Schools. As the final exams are approaching, the children were very busy in their studies. I was happy to see the way they were learning and reciting the memory verses from the Bible. In the Pappankulam School there are fewer children, but in the other two schools there were many children.
On the way to Trichi, Pastor William George and I visited land which was very cheap and also good-quality. The name of the place is Dindigul. I hope it will be a good place to have our orphanage home and the school for the children, because we will have problems running our orphanage in the small place we now have in Chennai since the Government of Tamil Nadu created a law that orphanage homes need to have a large place for the children to play and move around. So please pray about this project. I think I told Natalie about this.
On the evening of the eighteenth we went to Trichy, and had the JFA Bible workers' meeting on March 19. There were twenty-one volunteers attending the meeting, although a few were not able to come because they were sick. We had good Bible studies given by a few pastors from the conference, and then the Bible workers gave personal reports about their fieldwork. It was amazing to hear from one of our Bible workers, Sister P. Ramani, about her experience in the field. She said that she has brought 105 precious souls into this great truth within the last year. She was saying, "Even though I'm uneducated and illiterate, God is mightily using me in spreading and sharing this marvelous truth from the Bible." She has established five churches in five un-entered villages. She said, "Till my last breath I want to serve my heavenly Father in spreading His love to the people in the darkness of sin." There were so many witnesses like this. Each worker has been bringing many precious souls to our church, and establishing new churches. We were able to pay travel and food to all our JFA workers to who attended the meeting.
On the twenty-first I was again able to visit the Bible workers' working places. I thank the Lord for the good work of our JFA workers in various villages in the North Tamil Confernce. A few workers are very slow but many are doing a good work. Thank you for praying for all our workers.
We have organized a chain prayer program and are fasting and praying. Please pray for the Bible workers and the Children.
On the evening of the twenty-first, I took a train and reached Chennai the the next morning.
Thank you so much.
God Bless.
Lovingly,
Israel Prasad.
