FaithCamp Idaho 2010 is just over a week away!

Jon had to take the last two weeks to lead the 2nd FaithCamp Asia in the Central Philippines. It was a wonderful experience for both him and David and Becky as they witnessed people responding to the final call to purity and service through Christ Our Righteousness. They were plagued with all kinds of power outages but the Lord blessed our HCBN team and left us excited about having another FaithCamp!

Our theme this year is what the angel said to Mrs. White over 100 years ago (how much more pertinent is this message today!) "Get Ready, Get Ready, Get Ready!" in Early Writings. Jesus is coming soon and He has given us specific instructions as to how to prepare for His coming and we will be blessed if we walk in them.

I am writing this email to ask you to make special preparation in your heart for FaithCamp. Please join us in praying from now until FaithCamp for the Holy Spirit's outpouring in the following ways:

1. That the atmosphere of heaven and God's holy angels will surround this place and bring everyone who comes here a blessing and a call and that God will truly be in charge of everything that happens during FaithCamp: The meetings, the casual conversations, the power, the internet streaming, the weather, the food, the lodging arrangements, every minute detail so that no one is distracted from the spiritual food God is giving.

2. That FaithCamp2010 will again be a pivotal, life-changing experience for everyone, one that will actually, truly hasten the Lord's coming.

3. Words of life for the speakers, and ears to hear for everyone.

Here's another preperation suggestion: from now until FaithCamp starts, please prayerfully consider entering a special fast from anything that distracts from a focus on the spiritual preparation in your own life and in aiding others in their preparation. Some things to fast from may include: News, FaceBook, Books, Music, Media, Junk Food (or even too much of a good food), certain social interactions.

Also - please lift up the decisions for our leaders at the General Conference Session which will begin the wednesday after FaithCamp weekend!
