Bible Workers: Indonesia

Our Bible worker is the man in the plaid shirt. This was at his daughter’s baptism, which was the very first baptism by immersion ever performed on their entire island.

Indonesia has over 17,000 islands and 1,340 ethnic groups. While the church is flourishing in 2 of those ethnic groups the remaining are largely untouched by the Three Angels’ Message. There is immense need for workers who can bring the message of light to these dark places and the people that are best suited for this task are the believers that are already there, that speak the language and live with among the people.

You can fully sponsor the wage of a Bible Worker in Indonesia for only $250/month!

Advantages of National Bible workers:

  • They don’t have to buy an airplane ticket to get there.

  • They are able to mingle without being easily noticed.

  • They are intimately familiar with the culture.

  • A National Bible Worker can be sent out at a fraction of the cost of a Western missionary.

The Bible worker program is the heart and soul of Jesus for Asia. It is one of the most effective ways we know of to spread the Gospel and develop groups of believers that stay long-term. Jesus for Asia currently has over 220 Bible workers scattered throughout India who are working while we, in America, sleep. Praise the Lord!

It costs just $250/month to sponsor a Bible Worker in Indonesia, but a gift of any size will help to support these dedicated men and women.
