Chembur and Ghatkopar Churches - Mumbai

In 2012, the Chembur Church building was in such bad repair that the city of Mumbai condemned it and closed it for public use. The church in Chembur was a major church in Mumbai, having Bible Workers and pastor accommodations. But due to financial constraints, the congregation has not been able to rebuild their church, and they have had to find other places to worship together since its closing ten years ago.

The Ghatkopar church is in a similar state of disrepair. Large cracks in the walls make it unsafe for church members to worship there.

Our vision is for each church to include a center of influence on one floor so that the churches can be lights in their communities.
