Japan is one of the world’s least-reached countries, with only a few thousand active Adventists among a population of more than 123 million people. Many live with a deep sense of isolation, loneliness, and quiet despair—often feeling disconnected and without meaning.

Culturally, people tend to keep to themselves, and genuine community can be difficult to find. This emotional distance contributes to a heartbreaking reality: Japan has one of the highest suicide rates in the developed world, with an estimated 60 lives lost each day, often through tragic means such as stepping in front of trains.

Bible Workers: Japan

Japan is one of the least-reached countries in the world, with only a few thousand Adventists among 123 million people. Deep loneliness and hopelessness are widespread, and the suicide rate remains tragically high. Bible workers can bring Christ’s love, hope, and meaning to a people in great need.

Japan is one of the least reached countries in the world, with about 1% Christian of any denomination. Currently there are only 60 SDA pastors (20 of them are foreigners) in the whole country of about 120 million people.

Mission Project - Czaja

Through a series of providences, God brought the Czaja family to Japan to work for Him in this least-reached country. By God's grace, they plan to set up a lifestyle center on a country property in Japan.
