The Lamprecht family—Cornelius, Rosané, little Evron, and another precious baby due in February 2026—are originally from South Africa. Their walk has been shaped by God’s grace, unexpected challenges, and a calling that grew stronger with every step of faith as Rosané shares:

“Thailand has always held a special place in our hearts, as we have lived and worked there during different phases of our lives, and during this time of seeking God’s will, we felt Him clearly calling us back to Thailand. So, with very little notice, no safety net, and only God’s promises to stand on, we moved to Thailand in March 2025 to answer His call. 

“We are currently serving with Jesus for Asia (JFA) in the mountain village of Ban Huai Tee Cha in Mae Hong Son Province. Our work includes assisting in the on-site print shop, where we help print Christian literature in various local languages and distribute the books throughout Thailand and several neighbouring countries. 

“Beyond printing, our mission extends into the heart of the rural community. As part of our ministry and our work-permit responsibilities, we help villagers in some daily tasks, from harvesting crops to basic repair work, building trust and living out Christ’s love through practical service. 

“As for me, I have a compassion for the poor and the hurting, and I find joy in helping the vulnerable and those with limited access to resources. Together, we also support villagers through simple, natural remedies for common ailments. Cornelius offers free English classes, giving locals opportunities to improve communication with English-speaking employers and expand future work options.

“Our desire is simple: to live among the people, to love them as Christ loves them, and to bring the light of Jesus to places that are often forgotten. We are thankful to serve, and we trust God daily to continue guiding our steps in this beautiful corner of Thailand.”
