We are officially here in Timor-Leste as the Missions Coordinator, working as the Assistant to the Executive Secretary and Adventist Missions Director. We have found the Timorese church leaders to be very hard-working, visionary, and willing to think outside of the traditional church policy structure to share the gospel in their country. We are praying that the leadership will have the same vision to work with JFA to quickly advance the gospel in this mission field. 

Essentially, we are AVS volunteers/JFA missionaries who are functioning as Mission employees and assisting the leadership team here in fundraising and strategic development.

We are assisting the local church leadership in further development of the missionary training program that is equipping the local missionaries to share the Adventist message in unreached communities. We are seeking to equip the missionaries with the skills necessary to meet the practical needs of rural unreached areas (Christ’s Method of Evangelism).
