Prayer walk - Israel

Less than 2% of people in Israel are Christian or followers of Jesus. A team is going to pray and intercede for the people, seeking God's plan for how to reach them with the Gospel.

Did you know that Israeli Jews are considered to be an unreached people group? Around two percent of the 4.3 million people in this group are Christians or Messianic believers. In fact, 43 out of 50 people groups in Israel are considered unreached.

But what does this mean, practically? You may think. Well, they're Jews; of course, they're not Christians. And this is true to some degree. Unlike many unreached people groups, most Jews have certainly heard the name of Jesus.

But hearing the name of Christ, or even knowing some basic Christian beliefs, doesn't necessarily mean they have heard the Gospel.

Mrs. White encouraged work among the Jews, writing: "We should not despise the Jews; for among them the Lord has mighty men, who will proclaim the truth with power." Manuscript 87, 1907.

Considering this information, and the fact that Israel is part of Asia, we are sincerely praying for God's leading to participate in Gospel work for Israel.

We are starting with a prayer walk this October 11-25. During this time, participants will have the opportunity to learn how to pray in faith and intercede for the people of Israel, seeking God's plan for their salvation.

SHARE these amazing outreach opportunities with friends and family.
