Seeing Jesus, Experiencing Healing: An India Bible Worker Story

Amar was in the midst of a medical crisis. Over the years, he had received many medical treatments for his condition and visited temples to invoke the help of his Hindu gods. But nothing helped. 

Eventually, his condition worsened, and he ended up in the ICU. He felt like he was living in his last moments. But as he lay there on the verge of death, he had a strange vision. A man appeared before his eyes, who he somehow knew to be Jesus. He had the distinct thought that only Jesus Christ could save him from his disease.

Amar told his wife to call Sheela, a JFA Bible Worker who worked in his area, and ask her to come pray for him. 

Sheela agreed and got permission from the doctor to visit Amar inside the ICU. After Sheela prayed, Amar said, “God blessed me immediately, and my health started to improve.”

The next day, doctors released Amar from the ICU, and a few days later, they discharged him from the hospital. 

“I thank God I am in good health now,” he shared.

Since returning home, Amar and his family have removed all the idols from their home and started coming to church. 

Please pray for their family as they continue to grow in relationship with Jesus.
