God Answers an Unbeliever's Prayer

Ajaram's daughter was very sick. Although he worked faithfully and lived simply, he was a poor man without the resources to pay for his daughter's medical care. He despaired about how to get the money to help her. 

He was not a believer and had never come to church, but he knew something about God. His daughter attended a Seventh-day Adventist school, and he was acquainted with Jinnath, a JFA Bible Worker who served in his village.

In his desperation, Ajaram recalled what Jinnath and his daughter had told him about God, who hears and answers prayers. He decided to pray to God and ask Him to provide the money he needed. 

God answered his prayers, and through the generosity of others, Ajaram could collect enough money to pay for his daughter's treatment. Now, she has recovered from her illness. 

When Jinnath visited Ajaram's family and heard their story, he saw an opportunity to share the Gospel with them more fully. He encouraged the family that the Almighty God is their great helper during big problems and critical situations. Jinnath prayed a special prayer for the family and invited them to church. 

Ajaram's family accepted Jinnath's invitation and started coming to church on Sabbath and other weekday services. In April, they finally accepted Jesus as their personal Savior. 

"This story is important," Jinnath shared, "because even though Ajaram and his family were sinners and unfaithful to God, He helped them during their critical situation." It shows how much God really loves people.
