Partner with Us to Give Hope to Children In India

Sagamal is in the 6th grade and comes from a Hindu background. She has been attending a JFA Evening School for more than two years. She lives with her father and her younger sister. Last year, for eight months, Sagamal’s father became paralyzed. He could not work, so they did not have food at home. She was very worried about her family, but the teachers taught her to have hope in Jesus.

Together, the teachers and children at the Evening School prayed for her father’s healing, but they did not stop there. Bible Workers visited Sagamal’s home to share God’s love and pray with her father, and the Evening School provided food for her sister and her father during this time.

By God’s grace, her father could start walking again and got a job! He also started having faith in God.

This story is just one small example of how God has used JFA Evening Schools to meet the physical and spiritual needs of children and families in India. 

Our Evening School program has proved to be an effective tool in not only changing the lives of the children who attend by giving them a future and a hope, but also in opening doors to communities that were closed to hearing the Gospel. The children who attend not only learn who Jesus is and accept Him as their personal Savior, but they also share what they learn with their family members, many of whom become followers of Jesus as well.

Funds donated to the Evening Schools can impact an additional 15-20 people for each child attending the school.

Attending a JFA Evening School costs $9 per month per child. Donations cover this completely, as we never require the children’s families to pay. We, along with the Evening School teachers, students, and their families, are so grateful to each donor who helps sponsor even one child.
